  40.  His dog was run over, his wife up and left him
  41.  And after that he got sacked from his job
  42.  Lost his arm in the war, was laughed at by a whore
  43.  Ah, but sill not a sniffle or sob
  44.  His novel was refused, his movie was panned
  45.  And his big Broadway show was a flop
  46.  He got sent off to jail;  you guessed it, no bail
  47.  Oh, but still not a dribble or drop

  49.  In jail he was beaten, bullied and buggered
  50.  And made to make license plates
  51.  Water and bread was all he was fed
  52.  But not once did a tear stain his face
  53.  Doctors were called in, scientists, too
  54.  Theologians were last and practically least
  55.  They all agreed sure enough;  this was sure no cream puff
  56.  But in fact an insensitive beast
  57.  
  58.  He was removed from jail and placed in a place
  59.  For the insensitive and the insane
  60.  He played lots of chess and made lots of friends
  61.  And he wept every time it would rain
  62.  Once it rained forty days and it rained forty nights
  63.  And he cried and he cried and he cried and he cried
  64.  On the forty-first day, he passed away
  65.  He just dehydrated and died
  66.  
  67.  Well, he went up to heaven, located his dog
  68.  Not only that, but he rejoined his arm
  69.  Down below, all the critics, they loot it all back
  70.  Cancer robbed the whore of her charm
  71.  His ex-wife died of stretch marks, his ex-employer went broke
  72.  The theologians were finally found out
  73.  Right down to the ground, that old jail house burned down
  74.  The earth suffered perpetual drought
